Drop in your documents
Upload files or whole folders. Exact duplicates are skipped, and a file with the same name as one already there is flagged as a likely newer version.

Nexus reads them
Each document is extracted, split and indexed as it arrives. Scanned pages are read by OCR, on your own server or by AI vision, and a failed read is retried automatically.

Ask in plain English. The answer comes only from the passages it found in your documents, with every fact cited, and it tells you when the answer is not there.

What people ask about Document Vault
Can the Librarian make things up?
It answers only from the passages it retrieved from your vault and must cite every fact. When your documents do not contain the answer, it says so.
Can we keep some documents from staff?
Yes. Documents marked for administrators are hidden from staff completely: they cannot open them, search for them, or get answers drawn from them.
What file types does it read?
PDFs, Word documents (.docx) and plain text. Scanned pages are read by OCR, which can run on your own server or use AI vision.
Is there a record of who did what?
Uploads, downloads, edits, visibility changes, deletions and questions are all logged. For questions only the length is kept, never the words.
